If you’re like us, you sometimes find it hard to get all the water your body needs day-to-day.  Did you know that dehydration is a major contributor to health concerns for seniors?  This refreshing spa water will quench your thirst and help you feel just a tad more relaxed.  Enjoy this recipe from our very own Registered Dietician, Anna Hamada.

Refreshing Spa Water

Ingredients

1 Gallon of Water
2 Medium American Cucumbers, peeled and thinly sliced
2-3 Lemons, sliced (seeds removed)
4 Cups Honeydew Melon, 1″ pieces

Directions:

Wash cucumbers, lemons, and melon very well before using. Put water and all ingredients into a clean container. Place in the refrigerator and let sit overnight.  Strain into a pitcher and use within 3 days.
