Meals on Wheels Orange County partnered with the Orange Senior Center to bring Valentine’s Day festivities to older adults in the community. Handmade cards were created by the children at the Boys & Girls Club Costa Mesa and delivered to attendees. Guests enjoyed a nutritious meal, Valentine basket giveaways and entertainment by local band, Tropic Starr.
Meals on Wheels OC works in partnership with more than 20 local senior centers to provide Lunch Cafés which offer nutritious meals and socialization opportunities for seniors throughout Orange County.
As one guest commented, “It gives you an opportunity to socialize and exercise and that adds years to my life.”
