Our 2021 March for Meals campaign made it all the way to Washington when U.S. Congresswomen Young Kim (CA-39), Katie Porter (CA-45), and Michelle Steel (CA-48) joined us to raise awareness for senior issues in Orange County. Each Congresswoman visited a local senior center and handed out meals, spoke with older residents, and learned more about how the demand for supportive services has skyrocketed since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. With more older adults facing food insecurity and long-term isolation than ever before, increased awareness and funding for assistance programs are critical. We are grateful for your support!
